Serious flood – April 7th-10th

We got hit with a bad rain storm where it poured non stop for three days. There was bad flooding in most everywhere and the city was in a state of emergency. There were mudslides and people were killed, very tragic. Where we are staying there is only one road in and one road out and that one road turned into a river, so we were trapped for a few days. Eventually the locals got a flatbed truck to work as a shuttle and shuttle people in and out. Also the rivers, where the aligatores live, overflowed so we stopped wading through water when that little tid bit of news came out;)
